The 6th Regiment (Reinforcement) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (6 SLAC) celebrated its 17th anniversary on 02 August 2024 at the 6 SLAC premises with a series of military formalities under the guidance of Lieutenant Colonel L.B.S.U.K Liyanagedara psc, the Commanding Officer of 6 SLAC.
Commencing the programme, the Commanding Officer was welcomed in a Guard Turnout followed by the planting of a sapling at the camp premises. The Commanding Officer then posed for a group photograph and attended a lunch with All-Ranks.
In addition, an almsgiving and religious events were organised prior to the anniversary.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of 6 SLAC participated in the anniversary celebrations.
