6 GW Builds a New House for a Needy Family

Troops of the 6 Gemunu Watch (GW), under the guidance of the Commander of 593 Infantry Brigade and sponsored by Lift Life Foundation, recently completed a new house construction project for a needy family residing in Pudukudirippu within 10 days.

The key to the house was formally handed over to the family by Major General W.M.P.M Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, the General Officer Commanding of 59 Infantry Division, in a simple ceremony held on 02 May 2024.

Additionally, as part of the event, families affected by flooding at the Theravil water tank were provided with essential sanitary equipment to aid in cleaning their homes.

Commanding Officer of the 6 GW, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the ceremony.
