591 Infantry Brigade troops of the 59 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters- Mullaittivu at the request of officials of Mullaittivu, Wattapalei Kannaki Amman Kovil, cleaned up the temple premises on 28 May.
Troops of the 12 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment and 10 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment carried out the cleaning programme on the directions of their Commanding officers and the Commander of the 591 Infantry Brigade.
