Troops of the 591 Brigade on Saturday (29) carried out a cleaning campaign in Kannakiamman Kovil premises in Wattappalai with the support of civilians.
This event was conducted on the directions of the Major General Jagath Rathnayake, Commander Security Force Headquarters- Mullattivu under the supervision of Major General Priyantha Perera General Officer Commanding -59 Division and Colonel Sujeewa Perera, Commander 591 Brigade in order to rid grabage in the sacred area.
