Major General W.M.P.M. Wijesuriya RWP RSP ndu, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 59 Infantry Division, made an official visit to the 6 Gemunu Watch and the 6 Sri Lanka National Guard on 01 March 2024.
The GOC received a warm welcome from the respective Commanding Officers, and he addressed the Officers and Other Ranks of both Battalions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining discipline and financial stability as soldiers.
Brigadier H.V.A. Somaweera RWP RSP USP, the Commander of 593 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present during those visits.
