58 Division Troops Educated on ‘Landslides and Disaster Management’

A lecture to educate the troops serving the 58 Division on ‘Landslide and Disaster management’ was held at the Main Conference Hall, Sri Lanka Light Infantry Training School, Boossa on Friday (30).

The programme was initiated on the instructions of Brigadier Sumith Atapattu, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division.

Mr E.R Bandula, National Building Research Organisation delivered lectures to educate the troops on ‘Landslides and Disaster Management’.

10 Officers and 200 Other Ranks serving all formations under the 58 Division, covering areas and as Matara, Rathnapura, Kegalle districts were present for the awareness programme.
