Commander, Security Forces - West (SF-West), Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage visited the 58 Division Headquarters in Galle on Wednesday (3) before his relinquishment of his office.
Major General Jayantha Gunarathna, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division welcomed the outgoing West Commander at the main entrance before the Division Headquarters troops awarded military honours with a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour in accordance with military traditions.
Subsequently, the SF Commander planted a sapling to mark his visit to the Division followed by the customary troops' address.
