The certificate-awarding ceremony for attendees in the Tamil Language Course No 2 in the 573 Infantry Brigade HQ at Mankulam was held on 20 February at the HQ.
The course was designed to enhance Tamil language proficiency among all troops at the HQ and those serving under command battalions in order for them to carry out civil-military cooperation projects in the area.
23 Other Ranks of all formations followed the one-month long Tamil language course.
Major General Chandimal Peiris, General Officer Commanding, 57 Infantry Division attended the certificate- awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.
