The certificate awarding ceremony of the Tamil Language Course conducted by 573 Brigade at Maankulam took place on 23 November where Major General Chandimal Peris General Officer Commanding, 57 Division attended as the Chief Guest.
The course was initiated under the guidance of Brigadier Ramith Prasanna, Commander 573 Brigade to improve Tamil language skills of under-command troops in battalions in respective areas of responsibility. The course started on 11 October and ended on 23 November with the participants of 22 soldiers, belonging to the 573 Brigade.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the awarding Ceremony.
