Under the direction of the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General Jayantha Gunaratne and the close supervision of the 57 Division and the Commander 572 Brigade, Brigadier D.M.P.P Dasanayaka, 572 Brigade troops distributed a large quantity of pre-cooked meal packets and drinking water among the worst-affected civilians in the general areas of Vishwamadu on Thursday (26).
