571 Brigade Conducts ‘Shramadana’ at ‘Janatha Dewasaba’ Church

Troops of the 16 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment of the 571 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) provided their assistance to clean the ‘Janatha Dewasaba’ Church premises at Anandapuram in Kilinochchi on Monday (19).

The ‘Shramadana’ programme was organized as a concept of the Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi, Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana. Colonel Rohitha Aluvihare, Brigade Commander, 571 Brigade, supervised the project.

Around 20 troops from 16 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment voluntarily took part in the ‘Shramadana’ campaign and cleaned the church premises and adjoining buildings at the request of devotees and church authorities.
