During a visit to a Unit under the 57 Division Headquarters in Kilinochchi, Major General B.P.S de Silva, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 57 Division took time off to visit a disabled former LTTE woman combatant who is undergoing hardships with her two children.
The GOC speaking to the widowed former combatant inquired into her needs and donated a large bag of dry rations, new clothes and a stock of school accessories for her two children of 10 and 8 years.
