Intending to help further enhance possibilities of earning an extra income and uplifting economic standards of Kilinochchi civilians, the 57 Division Headquarters on Tuesday (29) conducted a training programme for 10 regional agricultural officers and 40 Army personnel on bee-keeping.
Mr Tissa Bandara Thambawita and Mr Suranga Jayarathne, officials of the ‘Bingu Sampath Surakimu Association’ provided the lecture assistance to this effect at the request of Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division.
