561 Troops Busy with Flood Relief Operation in Wanni

16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops of the 561 Infantry Brigade of the 56 Infantry Division provided their assistance to repair the damaged Mylamotai tank bund in Marailuppai with the support of workers in the Agrarian Services Department on 16 December 2023.

Upon reaching the location, the troops cooperated with local civilians. The guidance of officials from the Marailuppai Agrarian Services Department enabled the repairs to the damaged tank bund by placing sandbags.

The General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division and Brigade Commander of 561 Infantry Brigade provided necessary guidance to the troops.
