561 Infantry Brigade Conducted a Multifaceted Community Service Initiative

The 561 Infantry Brigade conducted a multifaceted community service initiative on 09 April 2024. Under the guidance of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division, and the supervision of the Commander of the 561 Infantry Brigade, the event included a cleaning campaign, repair of water lines, a lunch program, and a book donation to 30 students of Periyakulam Government Tamil Mix School in Kanakarayankulam.

The book donation was sponsored by officials from MAS Kreeda Vaanavil - Kilinochchi, with the participation of Social Sustainability Champion Mrs. Samiri Wijerathna, Assistant Human Resource Manager Mr. Dilshan Weerasinghe, and team members Mr. M Muralidaran and Mrs. Sivamalar.

Brigadier W.S.V Fernando USP ndc IG, the Deputy General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division, graced the occasion. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the 561 Infantry Brigade participated in the occasion.
