56 Infantry Division Supports Farming Communities in Nedunkerni and Palinagar

The 56 Infantry Division, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Hadabima Authority, distributed poultry chicks, vegetable plants and farming tools to 150 low-income families in Nedunkerni and Palinagar on 19 November 2024.

This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Brigadier M.P.M.N Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, and the supervision of the Commander of the 561 Infantry Brigade.

The 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry provided these items to 75 families in Palinagar, while the 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment distributed these resources to 75 families in Nedunkerni at North Grama Niladhari Office.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and farmers participated in the event.
