56 Infantry Division Hosts Security Conference

The 56 Infantry Division held a security conference at its conference hall on 30 July 2024 along with key stakeholders including the Special Task Force (STF), Forest Department, Archaeological Department, and Wildlife Conservation Department. The meeting focused on improving coordination among these agencies to better protect archaeological sites, conserve forests, manage wildlife, and address related challenges.

Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division, Commanders of the 561 and 562 Infantry Brigades, District Forest Officer, Archaeological Regional Officer, Chief Inspector of STF Camp Vavuniya and Puliyankulam, Inspector of Police, and Senior Officers participated in the conference.
