56 Infantry Division GOC Makes Official Visit to 561 Infantry Brigade

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, made a formal visit to the 561 Infantry Brigade and its under-command battalions of 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 05 March 2024.

During the visit, the Brigade Commander of the 561 Infantry Brigade and the Commanding Officers of the respective Battalions warmly welcomed the GOC to the respective camp premises. Subsequently, they provided comprehensive briefings on their present role and tasks. Furthermore, the GOC addressed the Officers and Other Ranks of the Brigade and respective battalions and engaged in close interaction with them.

The Commander of the 561 Infantry Brigade and Senior Officers of the 56 Infantry Division joined the visit.
