Following an initiative taken by Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, pregnant ladies residing in Vavuniya received basic maternity essentials on 23 May 2024.
The event was sponsored by Mrs. Oshadi Athukorala, aimed to offer economic support to low-income families.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
