The 12 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), under the guidance of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, organized a Spectacles Donation Programme at the Kakyankulam community hall on 02 October 2024.
During the ceremony, 102 civilians received spectacles. The programme was financially supported by Dr. V. Sarveshwaran, Chairman of the Assist Resettlement & Renaissance organization.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, Mr. Basir, the President of the Kakyankulam Church, and residents in the area participated in the event.
