552 Infantry Brigade, with the support of Standard Chartered Bank, Colombo, distributed school aid packs to 200 underprivileged students from Nallur Mixed School and Selliyathivu Mixed School in Pooneryn on Saturday (20 January).
The event, held at Nallur Mixed School, provided each student with a school accessories pack containing essential items including exercise books, stationery, a school bag, and a pair of shoes. The initiative aimed to support the educational needs of children from underserved communities in the region.
Commander, 552 Infantry Brigade graced the occasion as the chief guest and Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and officials of Standard Charted Bank, Colombo also took part in the occasion.
