551 More Persons Leave QCs - NOCPCO

As of this morning (2), a total of 2,510 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 20 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 2.490 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 398 from Kalutara District, 384 from Gampaha District, 189 from Matale District and 1,519 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (2), a total of 311,348 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 201,335 were reported after the New Year.

By Monday (2) morning (past 24 hours), 1,792 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 31 July, 67 more deaths have been reported including 36 males and 31 females.

As of Monday (2), 3,803 persons in 63 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Monday (2) morning, 551 persons have left 18 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
