55 Infantry Division Conducts a Blood Donation Programme

55 Infantry Division, in collaboration with District General Hospital Killinochchi organized a blood donation campaign at the office of the Regional Director of Health Services, Killinochchi on 17 May 2024 in line with the Vesak festival. This initiative conducted under the guidance of Major General R.K.N.C Jayawardene RSP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of the 55 Infantry Division, to address the urgent blood needs of Killinochchi District General Hospital Blood Bank.

Many civilians and troops donated their blood to support the healthcare efforts of the District General Hospital Killinochchi. Senior Officers, Officers Other Ranks, civilians in the area participated in the program.
