Troops of the 55 Infantry Division organized a series of religious ceremonies to mark the Vesak Festival. In line with the Vesak celebrations, multi religious almsgiving programme was held at Lumbini Temple Killinochchi on 18 May 2024.
This event was organized under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 55 Infantry Division, Major General R.K.N.C Jayawardene RSP ndc.
Religious dignitaries participated in the almsgiving and praised the Army for arranging such events.
