5,453 Persons in 81 Hotels & Tri Service-managed QCs Still in Quarantine -NOCPCO

As of this morning (11), a total of 1,548 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 33 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,515 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 336 from Gampaha District, 242 from Colombo District, 180 from Kalutara District and 757 from different other Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (11), a total of 273,030 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 165,330 were reported after the New Year.

By Sunday (11) morning (past 24 hours), 1,804 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 09 July, 33 deaths have been reported including 19 males and 14 females.

By Sunday (11) morning, 653 persons have left 24 QCs after completion of their quarantining process. As of this morning (11), 5,453 persons in 81 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine.

The latest GN Division that came under isolation this morning (11) was Paragala GN Division in Ayagama Police Division in Rathnapura District

By this morning (11), Aramaya area in 66 Watta in Dematagoda Police Division and Thepelpettiya Junction, Samanala Mv, Isuru Mv, Sathsara Mv, Jagath Mw in Thalahena (North) GN Division and Wijaya Mw in Thalahena (South) GN Division in Thalangama Police Division in Colombo District, Kahagama Kosgalawatta in Ratnapura Police Division in Ratnapura District were completely released from isolation.
