544 More Persons Leave Quarantine Centres - NOCPCO

As of this morning (24), a total of 1,815 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 30 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,785 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority438 from Gampaha District, 364 from Colombo District, 138 from Ratnapura District and 845 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (24), a total of 293,112 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 183,880were reported after the New Year.

By Saturday (24) morning (past 24 hours), 953 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 22 July, 43 more deaths have been reported including 26 males and 17 females.

As of Saturday (24), 3,944 persons in 64 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Saturday (24) morning, 544 persons have left 19 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.

By this morning (24), the isolated areas and travel restrictions imposed earlier remain unchanged.
