542 Infantry Brigade Provides School Accessories to Students

The 542 Infantry Brigade distributed essential learning materials and school accessories to 94 students from Poomalandan Primary School and Madhu Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya at Poomalandan Preschool on 07th January 2025.

The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Major General R.P.A.R.P Rajapaksa RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, and under the supervision of the Commander of the 542 Infantry Brigade.

Troops from the 4th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, coordinated by Major P.G Niranjan RSP, facilitated the programme's success. The school accessories, each valued at Rs. 8,000.00, were generously sponsored by Miss Rosie Thuring, with support from DFCC Bank, aiming to enhance the students' educational experiences and opportunities.
