Troops of the 541 Infantry Brigade held a ‘Rice Dansela’ (free eatery) at Mannars on account of the Vesak Poya Day (24 May 2024).
Nearly 1500 people in and around the area enjoyed the free treat. Brigadier B.Y.C Fernando RWP USP, Commander, 541 Infantry Brigade graced the inauguration as chief guest.
Generous troops of the 541 Infantry Brigade as well as under command battalions provided monetary assistance to the success of the project.
