The troops of the 541 Infantry Brigade together with Commando Regiment Special Warfare Training School (CRSWTS) organized school books donation programme for 253 needy school children of Echchalawaka GTMS and Periyamadu Maha Vidyalaya on 07 February 2024 at Periyamdu Maha Vidyalaya.
Mr. Anton Pranidanayagam Chairmen of Red Cross, Vavuniya branch and his staff provided much - needed financial contribution for this charity work.
Brigade Commander, 541 Infantry Brigade Brigadier B.Y.C Fernando RWP USP, Commandant, CRSWTS, Officers and Other Ranks and officials of Red Cross Branch Vavuniya, Principals/Teachers and students attended for this event.
