541 Infantry Brigade Conducts Basic Medicine Course

Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 54 Infantry Division, Major General K.M.P.S.B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, the 541 Infantry Brigade launched a basic medicine course for troops serving in the 54 Infantry Division and its under command battalions from 06 May 2024 to 11 May 2024.

The course, attended by 40 Other Ranks, focused on enhancing their understanding of First Aid, Ayurvedic Medicine and Snake Handling. Brigadier B.Y.C Fernando RWP USP, the Commander of the 541 Infantry Brigade, graced the certificates awarding ceremony as the chief guest. Dr. Lieutenant S.L.Y.G Kumara, Ayurvedic Doctor P.A Fernando from Pallemadu Ayurvedic Hospital, Sergeant M.G.N.G Kumara and Sergeant B.A.M.G.S.I.R.K Abeysinghe conducted the course.
