The 54 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ - Wanni with the aim of further enhancing welfare facilities of Officers and Other Ranks opened its renovated holiday bungalow and the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' new accommodation building on Monday (16 October).
Major General G.W.A Senavirathna USP psc, General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division, graced the simple inauguration ceremony as the chief guest, together with Officers and Other Ranks.
Both buildings were refurbished and erected by engineers and technicians of the 54 Infantry Division. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the 54 Infantry Division participated in the opening ceremony.
