531 More Persons Leave QCs - NOCPCO

As of this morning (31), a total of 2,460 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, five were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 2,455 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 535 from Gampaha District, 441 from Kalutara District, 222 from Colombo District and 1,257 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (31), a total of 306,661 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 194,390 were reported after the New Year.

By Saturday (31) morning (past 24 hours), 1,716 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 29 July, 56 more deaths have been reported including 38 males and 18 females.

As of Saturday (31) 3,746 persons in 66 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Friday (30) morning, 531 persons have left 17 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
