General Officer Commanding, 53 Division, Major General Sanjeewa Fernando visited the 532 Brigade located in Inamaluwa, Habarana on 7 November 2021 as his 1st official visit after assuming office as the new GOC.
During this visit, he opened the Brigade Commander's new chalet, joined tree planting and conducted the troop address.
He also visited the 4 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (4SLLI) battalion troops in the area and talked to them and met Bakmitiyawa-based Alpha company troops of the 4 SLLI.
Subsequently, he visited the 8 Gajaba Regiment (GR) camp and addressed the troops.
