The troops of 522 Infantry Brigade under 52 Infantry Division extended their fullest support to conduct the annual feast at St Mary’s Church in Kaddeikadu on 15 August 2023.
Before the feast, troops decorated the church premises and drinking water facilities and temporary shades were provided by the troops.
With the intention of maintaining cordial relations with the community in the area, assistance to the church was coordinated by Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division with the blessings of the Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna, Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc.
Commander 522 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier L.K.T Fernando RSP USP participated as the Chief Guest in the feast. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and a large number of civilians took part in the feast.
