521 Infantry Brigade Troops with Sponsors' Support Help Poor Community in Jaffna

Troops of the 521 Infantry Brigade of the 52 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force HQ-Jaffna with the support of sponsors gave away dry ration packs to 50 needy families living in Achchuvely, Vallai and Urikkadu areas in the Jaffna peninsula on 12 May.

Troops invited them into the 521 Brigade Headquarters premises and distributed those esssentials, each pack worth Rs 3500/=. The pack contained rice, dhal, spices, cereals, milk powder, etc.

Colonel H.M.R Fernando RWP RSP USP, Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade gave necessary directions to go ahead with the project through the coordination of the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna.
