52 Infantry Division's GOC Relinquishes his Duties

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 52 Infantry Division, Major General K.P.S.A Fernando RWP RSP ndu relinquished his duties on 07 June 2023. Prior to his relinquishment, the outgoing General Officer Commanding made courtesy visits to 521 and 523 Infantry Brigades to address all Officers and Other Ranks under command to the 52 Infantry Division on 05 June 2023.

Keeping up with customary military traditions, the outgoing General Officer Commanding was saluted in a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour respectively at the Division Headquarters on 06 June 2023 followed by a formal troop address.

Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Senior Officers of the 52 Infantry Division were present at the event.
