52 Division troops under the Security Force HQ- Jaffna considering hardships of needy families distributed fifty five dry ration packets among low-income families living in Ariyale area on Wednesday (30).
The cost of those relief packs was borne by a philanthropist in the area.
This was held at the 'Sarvodaya' Center in Ariyalai under guidelines given by Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander Security Forces-Jaffna with the coordination of the Major General Harendra Peris, General Officer Commanding, 52 Division.
Members of clergy of major religions along with the Grama Niladari officials took part in the distribution where the GOC, 52 Division was also present.
