Troops of the 52 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on request of the incumbent at Navatkuli Samurdhi Sumana Temple would offer their technical expertise and engineering skills to build the monastery building in the temple premises.
At the request of temple authorities, Major General Harendra Peiris, General Officer Commanding, 52 Division laid the corner-stone at the auspicious minute on Thursday (29).
Construction work of this monastery building will be carried out by the troops on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku.
