In order to promote reconciliation and goodwill between Security Forces and civilians, 513 Brigade troops of the 51 Division volunteered to carry out a few 'Shramadana' campaigns inside Muruga Murthi Hindu Kovil compound in Chankanni, Vairavan Kovil and Murugan Kovil compounds in Vadaliyadaippu, Jaffna on Friday (25) on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 51 Division Major General Deepal Pussella, along with the supervision of the Commander 513 Brigade Brigadier Mohamad Fariz.
11 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 16 Gemunu Watch troops participated in the 'Shramadana' programme following strict health guidelines.
