A meeting organized by the 511 Brigade in Jaffna to review progress as regards various humanitarian and development-oriented roles that have been pursued to-date took place at Jaffna Urumpirai Hindu College where state and civil agency representatives met Civil Affairs Officers of the 511 Brigade.
The cordial meeting, the second of this nature focused on Civil Military Coordination (CIMIC) affairs, lasted for about two hours. The first such meeting got underway three weeks back in the 513 Brigade in Uduvil.
Divisional Secretaries from Kopay, Nallur, Santhilippai and Thelippalai, respective Grama Seva officials, Community Leaders, 511 Brigade Commander, 51 Division Civil Affairs Officer, 511 Civil Affairs Officer, senior officers and several others attended the progress review meeting.
