Under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna), and the supervision of Major General M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, a book and school equipment donation programme was conducted for children from underprivileged families in Selvapuram and Yogapuram on 14th January 2025, at the CIMIC Park premises.
The financial contributions for this initiative were generously provided by Major General Ravi Rathnasingham (Retd), Mr. Sivakumar Ponnathurai and his spouse, Mr. Thabotharan, Mr. Bawan, and Mr. Thenujan.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
