On information received by Intelligence Corps troops in the 51 Division and 17 Gemunu Watch troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna, troops with the Police apprehended a civilian, carrying about 6.5 kg of Kerala cannabis from the general area of Allaipiddy, Kayts on Thursday (8).
The suspect with cannabis was taken to the Kayts Police for further investigations.
