Following a donation sponsored by ‘Best Wishes Foundation - Malaysia’ of Ven Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero, Advisor and Coordinator to the organization, the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni was able to distribute school accessories among 500 needy students and essentials among pregnant women residing in Anuradhapura and Vavuniya districts on Tuesday (21 Sep) at the Cultural Hall, Vavuniya. The total value of the donation was Rs. 2.7 million.
Representative Malaysian donors, together with their advisor after inviting beneficiaries to the Cultural Hall, Vavuniya distributed those relief packs to the students and those pregnant women along with the Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Major General H.G.P.M Kariyawasam RSP ndu psc IG, General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Brigadier General Staff, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, officers and other ranks.
