5 VIR Constructs a New House for a Needy Family

As per the concept of the Commander of the Army, the troops of the 5th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (5 VIR), under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 5 VIR, constructed a new house for a needy family in Baragama, Ambalantota on 22 April 2025.

The newly constructed house was officially vested in the beneficiary by Colonel E.W.M.W.K.B Abeyratne RWP RSP USP psc, Commander of the 581 Infantry Brigade.

Senior Officers, Officers, government officials, donors and villagers took part in this special occasion.
