5 (V) Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) conducted a blood donation programme with the assistance of Kanthale Hospital and Trincomalee Blood Bank on 31 March 2024 at Velunna Raja Maha Viharaya.
More than 45 donors, including Officers and Other Ranks, participated and donated blood during the occasion under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 5(V) SLA, Lieutenant Colonel W.W.M.P.B. Wekadapola USP, psc, IG.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
