5 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (5 SLSC) celebrated its 30th anniversary with a series of events on Tuesday (02 Jan) at the unit premises in Padukka under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 5 SLSC.
The celebrations commenced with a Bodhi Pooja, followed by a cricket tournament. On the anniversary day itself, a Guard Turnout was held to honour the Commanding Officer. Subsequently, a Battalion Parade was conducted. Anniversary lunch was then hosted at the Other Ranks' Mess, and the events culminated in an All Ranks get-together. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks all participated in the festivities.
