The inter battalion football championship of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) was held during 11-12 September at the 13 Sri Lanka National Guard playground in Mullaittivu.
17 units participated in this tournament, and 5 Battalion SLNG and 16 Battalion SLNG competed in the finals. However, 5 SLNG players emerged champions in the tournament.
Lieutenant Colonel D.M.S Dissanayake, Commanding Officer 13 SLNG graced as the Chief Guest during the finals and gave away mementos and certificates to the achievers.
