5 SLAC Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Series of Events

5 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) organized a unit symposium, Diners’ Club and the 30th Anniversary Officers’ Get-Together on 19 January 2024 at the unit premises and Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces - West and the Colonel Commandant of SLAC graced the occasion as the chief guest.

During the symposium, Officers of 5 SLAC conducted various presentations on subject matters and Brigadier R.G.U Rajapaksha (Retd) RSP psc, delivered an educative lecture on 'Civil-Military Relations: The Role of Military’ during the Diners’ Club.

30th Anniversary Officers’ Get-Together got underway, with the dawn of the dusk with the participation of Senior Officers and Officers.
