405 Persons Leave Quarantine Centers - NOCPCO

As of this morning (26), a total of 1,666 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 10 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,656 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 360 from Colombo District, 256 from Gampaha District, 172 from Galle District and 868 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (26), a total of 296,515 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 187,183 were reported after the New Year.

By Monday (26) morning (past 24 hours), 937 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 24 July, 45 more deaths have been reported, including 23 males and 22 females.

As of Monday (26), 3,655 persons in 64 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Monday (26) morning, 405 persons have left 10 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.

By this morning (26), GolindaWattha in Malavita GN Division in Kegalle Police Division in Kegalle District, Paralagama GN Division in Ayagama Police Division in Rathnapura District, DivithuruWattha in ParanaKolaniya GN Division in Alpitiya Police Division in Galle District, Chenmale (East) in Nayaru Police Division in Mullaitivu District and NakalaWatta and MillakeWatta in Kivulahida GN Division in Monaragala Police Division in Monaragala District were completely released from isolation.
