4 SLLI Troops Hold Their New Year Festival inside the Camp

4 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment (4 SLLI) troops based in Dambulla on the New Year day (14 April) held a ‘Bakmaha Ulela’ (Sinhala and Tamil New Year) inside the 4 SLLI camp premises, together with all Officers, Other Ranks and civil employees.

Some of those interesting games included grease pole climbing, pillow fighting, breaking pots, tug-of-war, dotting the elephant eye, play musical chairs, inflating balloons, bun-eating, obstacle race, the lime-on-spoon race, fancy dress-up etc.

Lieutenant Colonel W D D R Weerapura RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officer of 4 SLLI gave necessary guidance for conduct of the event.
